Live-dealer tables carry the highest RTPs in the whole PragmatikPlay catalog — European Roulette at 97.30%, Multihand Blackjack at 99.60% with basic strategy, Baccarat at 98.94% on Banker. Getting those numbers requires playing the right way. Three tables, three cheat sheets, no memorisation tricks.
Blackjack: the shortest cheat sheet in gambling
Basic strategy is deterministic. Given your two cards and the dealer's upcard, there's exactly one correct move. Memorising the table brings the house edge down to under 0.5% at PragmatikPlay's 8-deck tables (dealer stands soft 17, double after split, late surrender).
The high-frequency rules
- · Always split aces and 8s. Never split 10s or 5s.
- · Always double on hard 11 (any dealer up).
- · Double hard 10 against dealer 2–9.
- · Hit hard 12 against dealer 2 or 3; stand vs 4–6.
- · Hit hard 16 vs dealer 7 or higher; stand vs 2–6.
- · Always take even money on a blackjack push against dealer ace? No. Decline insurance.

Baccarat: always bet Banker
Baccarat has three bets: Player, Banker, Tie. Their house edges:
| Bet | Pays | House Edge |
|---|---|---|
| Banker | 0.95:1 (5% commission) | 1.06% |
| Player | 1:1 | 1.24% |
| Tie | 8:1 | 14.36% |
Banker wins about 45.86% of the time, Player wins 44.62%, Tie wins 9.52%. The 5% commission on Banker wins still leaves it the best bet. The Tie's 8:1 payout looks tempting; the actual math makes it a 14% house edge trap. Never bet the Tie.
Roulette: European wheel only
European Roulette (single 0) has a 2.70% house edge — 97.30% RTP. American Roulette (0 and 00) has a 5.26% house edge. Never play American if European is available. PragmatikPlay defaults to European across all live tables.
On European, every bet has the same 2.70% house edge — inside bets (specific numbers), outside bets (red/black, odd/even), corners, splits. The edge is constant; only variance changes. If you want longer sessions with more decisions per hour, bet outside. If you want higher variance, bet inside.
PragmatikPlay-specific live features
- Mega Roulette: Random multipliers hit straight-up bets. Increases variance; house edge shifts to ~3.10%. Fun, not the tightest math.
- One Blackjack: One community hand across all seats. Same basic strategy applies; house edge under 0.5%.
- Speed Blackjack / Speed Baccarat: Same rules, rapid-fire pace (30 seconds per round). Watch your bankroll; hands-per-hour triples.
The one-line takeaway
Blackjack basic strategy, Banker at baccarat, European roulette only. Those three rules alone bring the highest RTPs in the catalog within reach.
